Staff
Softronics Ltd.'s most important asset is its technical staff. Our technical staff has nearly 500
years of combined engineering design experience in equipment and system
integration for ground, portable, air, ship, and vehicle. Our specialty is radio
communications, and our staff is expert in link analysis and propagation
prediction, radio design, antenna design and selection, and system design,
including software necessary to operate it. We are located in Northeastern
Iowa, which has a large pool of skilled aerospace technical talent, as
well as two nearby universities (Iowa State University, University of
Iowa) with whom we have existing relationships. All key skills are available
in-house: electronic design,
mechanical/thermal/packaging design, software design, assembly, test, and
installation. Our assembly
work is done exclusively by people trained in ISO-9000 and MIL SPEC
soldering and techniques.
Additional people and skills are recruited as needed for customer
projects.
